Guided hikes at the Bat Cave Preserve on Rutherford/Henderson County Line in Hickory Nut Gorge. Every Wednesday and Saturday starting on June 7 and ending August 9. Hikes start at both 10am and 2pm. The hike will stop at the mouth of the big Bat Cave (the largest fissure care in North America). No spelunking.
Reservations are required and the cost is $10 per person, $5 per child under 12 and no charge for children being carried. To reserve a spot call 828-350-1431 or e-mail mtn_volunteers@tnc.org and give them your name, phone and date and time.
